Retro Hair & Makeup

Have you ever notices how nice and how polite Canadians are? It’s true! Quite a few Canadians have visited my shop and they are- broadly generalizing here -just so nice.

One of my favorite Canadians (by way of Miami) is Miss Angela La Muse, who hails fromWinnipeg, Manitoba and is the most notorious burlesque performer of the Canadian prairies. Well!

Her retro style is so spot on. She shared some styling tips with lucky participants at the shop. Yes, there was talk of make up and there were hair styling tips, but the overarching message was this: be boldly, proudly and fearlessly yourself.

I am a vintage clothing shop owner living and working in rural north Florida. I believe in adding a little vinegar and molasses to my greens, having my coffee outside whenever possible, and mixing something vintage into every room and every outfit.
