I talked a lot (seriously, a lot) about craftsmanship as a reason to appreciate vintage clothing. I felt like the reporter and the photographer/ cameraman took the time and effort to really understand what I was saying. I noticed that they were actually practicing the craft of journalism, which I had believed was yet another fading art form. It was interesting to see them at work, interviewing, exploring, researching, and using language and image as efficiently as possible.
I am a vintage clothing shop owner living and working in rural north Florida. I believe in adding a little vinegar and molasses to my greens, having my coffee outside whenever possible, and mixing something vintage into every room and every outfit.
